The new ADAC Rally Junior Cup, which will launch in 2026 as an entry-level platform in German rallying, is taking shape. Eight attractive races are on the schedule for the inaugural season. The ADAC Rally Junior Cup will make five appearances as part of the German Rally Challenge and at the popular Tiefenbach Rally. The rally talents will compete twice in the German Rally Championship program – at the ADAC Saarland-Pfalz Rally and the ADAC Rally Stemweder Berg.
The Cup will be contested exclusively with the Opel Corsa Rally6. With its 145 hp 1.2-liter turbo engine and a cost-saving concept that includes the use of standard tires and steel rims, the new customer sports racer from Rüsselsheim has already proven itself to be the ideal competition vehicle for beginners in its first appearances in Germany. In the coming season, the cars will cover 70 kilometers in each of the DRC races and the Tiefenbach Rally, and around 140 kilometers in the two DRM starts.
The series for young talents closes the gap between the ADAC Rally Sprint Cup and the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup in the Opel Rally Pyramid. This offers young talents another step in their development in the junior rally sector. The new ADAC Rally Junior Cup also sets standards in terms of budget. The Opel Corsa Rally6 is competitively priced at €38,900 (net), and the running costs are significantly lower than those of a Rally5 vehicle.
Information on prize money and other support measures will be published shortly at adac.de/motorsport.
