New driver wanted for the RACB Corsa!

The Rally Girls development program of the Belgian Motorsport Association is attracting a great deal of interest. Six finalists will compete for a cockpit in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup 2025.

After 21-year-old Lyssia Baudet caused a sensation in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup “powered by GSe” this season, Opel Belgium and the Royal Belgian Automobile Sports Association RACB are consistently continuing their promotion of female rally talent. No fewer than 106 (!) women between the ages of 18 and 29 registered for an initial evaluation course at the RACB Competence Center on October 11 and 12.

A jury of experts, including Belgian racing and rally legend Marc Duez, put the female talents through a demanding test program that included fast laps in an Opel Corsa Electric.

The top six from the evaluation were invited to the shootout on December 7 and 8. The winner will contest a full season in the 2025 ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup “powered by GSe”.

The six finalists are (in alphabetical order):

Joni Billen, 26, Boom

Amber D'Halluin, 23, Hollebeke

Manon Duyckaerts, 22, Hombourg

Thyrsa Eertmans, 20, Sint-Truiden

Marine Simar, 27, Andrimont

Gaelle Taymans, 19 years old, Overijse
