The ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup "powered by GSe" continues to shine in its fourth season with a highly attractive overall package. Once again, the participants in their Opel Corsa Rally Electric can expect eight equally challenging and varied events in four nations. The season finale will once again take place as part of the Central European Rally, which is part of the World Rally Championship, in the border triangle of Germany/Austria/Czech Republic.
Registration for the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup "powered by GSe" 2024 is now open online at adac.de/motorsport. The registration fee includes the entry fees and electricity costs for all eight rallies, teamwear for drivers and co-drivers as well as year-round access to the Cup hospitality for four people with catering. New entrants also receive racing overalls for driver and co-driver as well as a team tent with groundsheet. In addition to the attractive calendar and the comprehensive service package, the only electric one-make rally cup in the world to date continues to offer a generous prize pot of around 100,000 euros, of which 30,000 euros alone is reserved for the junior classification. This is reserved for drivers born in 1998 or later.
In addition, the best juniors have the unique opportunity to recommend themselves for promotion to the ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team with strong performances in the Cup and to start there in the Corsa Rally4 in the Junior European Rally Championship. Just as last year's electric champion Calle Carlberg will do in 2024 after his predecessors Laurent Pellier (2021) and Timo Schulz (2022).
