Strong signs for the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup 2026

The world's first electric one-make cup enters its sixth season under a new name. Attractive schedule with seven rallies in six countries, Rally Sanremo as highlight. The new Opel Mokka GSE Rally is undergoing an intensive development program.

The ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup will start the 2026 season with many new features and a highly attractive schedule. The new Opel Mokka GSE Rally has been undergoing an intensive testing and development program for several months now. The first rally car designed in accordance with the new FIA eRally5 regulations will replace the Corsa Rally Electric from next season. With an output of 207 kW (281 hp) and a torque of 345 Nm, the Mokka GSE Rally sets new standards in electric rallying.

An advanced charging infrastructure will allow the Mokka GSE Rally to be charged outside the service park, enabling even more kilometers to be covered in the special stages, which further increases the appeal of the first electric rally one-make cup. Technical details of this innovative charging solution will be communicated at a later date.

The schedule reflects the high appeal of the 2026 ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup. With seven races in six countries, next year's cup will be more international than ever. The season kicks off at the end of May at the ELE Rally around Eindhoven in the Netherlands, before heading to the French Vosges two weeks later, where the electric racers will compete in the Rallye Vosges Grand-Est for the fourth time. In mid-July, the Electric Cup returns to the popular Rallye Weiz in Styria after a one-year hiatus. This will be followed by two rounds of the German Rally Championship in August and September with the ADAC Saarland-Pfalz Rally and the ADAC Rallye Stemweder Berg.

The season will conclude with two new events on the Cup calendar. The Rallye Sanremo in mid-October is one of the most prestigious and traditional events in the rally world. The asphalt competition around the coastal town on the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente is undoubtedly a real highlight of the 2026 ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup. The season finale will then take place on the last weekend in November with the Rally Spa in the Ardennes, just a few kilometers from the Belgian-German border.

“With starts in six countries, this schedule is probably the most attractive in the history of the joint ADAC and Opel rally brand cups since 2013,” says Opel Motorsport Director Jörg Schrott. "The ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup is starting its sixth season on a very strong note. The new Opel Mokka GSE Rally will thrill both participants and fans with its impressive performance. An upgraded charging infrastructure will ensure even more special stage kilometers. We can all look forward to even more electric action."

Registration for the 2026 ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup will open shortly.
