Green light for the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup 2025

Registration is now open for the fifth season of the world's first electric rally one-make cup. Seven attractive events, many services, high prize money, unique chance for promotion.

The ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup “powered by GSe” is entering its fifth season with a proven, successful overall concept and an attractive package of services. Seven demanding events with special stages in five nations await the participants in their 136-hp, comparatively production-based Opel Corsa Rally Electric cars. The season finale will be held for the third time as part of the Central European Rally, a round of the World Rally Championship, in the border triangle of Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.

Registrations for the 2025 ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup 'powered by GSe' are now open online at adac.de/motorsport. The registration fee includes entry and electricity fees for all seven rallies, team wear for drivers and co-drivers, and year-round access to the cup hospitality area for four people, with catering provided. In addition, newcomers receive racing overalls for the driver and co-driver, as well as a team tent with a groundsheet. In addition to the attractive calendar and the comprehensive service package, the only electric rally one-make cup in the world attracts entrants with a generous prize money pot of around 80,000 euros, of which 30,000 euros are reserved for the junior classification alone. This is reserved for drivers born in 1999 or later.

In addition, the best juniors have the unique chance to recommend themselves with strong performances in the Cup for promotion to the ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team and to compete in the Junior European Rally Championship in the Corsa Rally4. Just as last year's electric champion Luca Pröglhöf will do in 2025, following in the footsteps of his predecessors Laurent Pellier, Timo Schulz and Calle Carlberg. This results in an impressive total prize money pot of around 300,000 euros in the 2025 cup season.
